We are a group of journalists and professionals guided by democratic values and freedom. We believe that the dissemination and exchange of information in a free, fair and impartial manner strengthens those values. The role of media has changed drastically with the advent of new information technology in the last few years. The world has been defined as "a global village" as the information passes so quickly which could not be even imagined until a few years ago. The editor decided information dissemination system has gone to the pages of history. A new media system has emerged giving the readers a strong power. In fact, media has become interactive and readers set the agenda- not the editor.

Our strong commitment to freedom of the press and Loktantra in our motherland inspired us for the launch of outlooknepal.com. A true Loktantra or full fledged democracy with the protection of rights of all - irrespective of ethnic, religious, social or geographical origin of all Nepalese is the strong desire of all of us. We are not exception to this fact. Freedom and democracy cannot be possible in isolation. And this is our guiding principle.

We have no any political colour. We have no any guided hidden agenda. The only agenda we are taking is our strong commitment to freedom. Freedom of all sorts. Freedom to guide our future course. We do not wish to be in the lap of any ideology or group. Our only inclination is to democracy - in true sense not in slogan. We want to unite all the Nepalese and friends of Nepal living in each and every corner of the world. We want to share news, analysis, ideas and information being completely free, fair and balanced. Though small, our effort is to develop this information site an important bridge among the Nepalese and the friends of Nepal.

Like the famous poem ‘‘Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,’’ is what we want to present in this site. Making it the source of all information related to our community. However, being media professionals, we want to strictly adhere to the journalistic principles, ethics and values.

There are no geographical restrictions in the web. Where ever we live - Japan in the east to Russia to the North, Gulf countries in the Middle East to Europe and the Americas in the west - we are all Nepalese living away from our home. Lets join together and discuss our issues of concern.
